| Planning | We worked with planners and the environmental agency to obtain planning and to increase the environmental permit for the poultry site. Samples of the PGTV timber cladding and roof cladding were submitted for the planners to choose from.We worked with the planners to ensure the pre commencement conditions such as traffic management plans are drawn up and agreed prior to planning. |
| Structure | The structure was a timber posted structure. The client wanted to better the specification of his original poultry sheds so we used a longer post and seamless roof line with gables of each truss hidden in the roof void. This makes for better airflow, gives a better life span, reduces maintenance and gives better value for money. |
| Other Works | The works also entailed the major mains service upgrades, ground works and drainage, equipment installation including the design and construction of the farm managers dwelling. The works took 6 months to complete. |
