Clarke Group have recently completed a fantastic shop front refurbishment at Hoppers Jewellers in the High Street, Boston, taking just 8 weeks to complete. The works included removal of the existing shop front and installation of a bespoke timber shop front; incorporating specialist glazing and bespoke fittings designed by James Hopper and made by Clarke Group. Painting and tiling works were also included in the refurbishment with all works being carried out as per conservation guidelines.
James Hopper, Owner commented:
‘We were very keen to only use local tradesmen and craftsmen, but we also needed a contractor who was big enough and knowledgeable enough to take on the job. Clarke’s fitted this brief perfectly! A great local family run firm with skilled craftsmen on site, they proved to be big enough to cope, but still had the personal touch you’d expect from a family firm. The Clarke’s team showed great attention to detail and I firmly believe that this build quality shows through in the final result.’
Colin Broderick (Clarke Group Contracts Manager) added:
‘It has been a pleasure to undertake this complex project on behalf of a well-established, family run, local business like Hoppers. We feel that we have developed an excellent working relationship with the current generation of the Hoppers family who are running the business at present. As this was a prestigious project within the town centre, we wanted to use local trades people / companies of which the vast majority were.’
